Features of The Appalachian 75L
At first glance, the pack has two points of entry to the main compartment:
- A classic top lid
- Front panel U-shaped entrance with zipper
This is a floating-type lid that comes with an additional load, you too can raise the lid up and down as you expand the collar. The lid top comes with 4 attachment loops as well.
It features a compression strap and collar with two drawstrings underneath the lid. You can use this to snap the backpack from above.
Pad, climbing rope, tent and other accessories can be added to it. The primary compartment comes with a large space.
There are hose ports on each side of the backpack. You will find a water bladder sleeve in the main compartment.
The bottom space is large. You can store a sleeping bag in there. Plus, you too can keep lighter items there too. No doubt, a standard entry point that features a zipper.

The suspension system of the High Sierra Appalachian 75L is easy. Double aluminum (that are removable) stays provide support while the ERGO-FIT shoulder harness which is a ladder-type and adjustable offers better balance.
This harness can be moved up and down once you have undone the Velcro tab.
There are more than one places where you can attach the harness. That means you can use this backpack with your family and friends. To get started, they need to adjust the harness.
